888 Table Tennis Center in Burlingame, California, has been named a National Training Center for USA Table Tennis and will the primary hub for athlete development programs, national team training camps and national team competitions.
888 Table Tennis, founded by Huifen Chan, has attracted players from across the U.S. and the world. The venue’s International Talent Development Program has fostered growth of USATT’s national team, including 2024 Olympic Summer Games qualifier Rachel Sung.
“We are thrilled about the partnership between USA Table Tennis and the 888 Table Tennis Center,” said USA Table Tennis Chief Executive Officer Virginia Sung. “We anticipate incredible growth potential for the sport in the United States. Together, we will continue to elevate table tennis and inspire the next generation of champions.”
To inaugurate their designation as a National Training Center, 888 TTC will host the 2024 US National Adult and Junior Team Trials from May 24-3.
