Supertri Launches New Race Series with Four U.S. Events

Short course triathlon organization Supertri is expanding its portfolio with the launch of By Supertri, a brand designed to broaden access to the sport.

The expansion is marked by the acquisition of two events in Texas — the Ascension Seton CapTex Triathlon and the Kerrville Triathlon — which join events in Chicago, Long Beach and Toulouse, France. The 2025 By Supertri schedule will include the Chicago Triathlon, Long Beach Legacy Triathlon and Toulouse Triathlon, which will now be integrated under the new brand.

“By Supertri marks the next phase of our rebrand and represents a big step in our evolution to a triathlon community,” said Supertri CEO Michael D’Hulst. “We are shaping the future of triathlon by linking professional racing with mass participation. Through By Supertri, we cater to experienced athletes who want to go fast while also inspiring first-time participants to become lifelong competitors. They are motivated by the race experience and being part of the Supertri community that inspires and connects them.”

The Ascension Seton Austin CapTex Triathlon is held in downtown Austin, offering a race experience through the city’s streets and Lady Bird Lake. The Kerrville Triathlon, dubbed the ‘most scenic triathlon in Texas,’ takes place in Texas Hill Country.
