Seattle Plans 2026 FIFA World Cup Fan Zones Around Washington
Nine locations around the state will have celebrations in 2026
Posted On: January 15, 2025 By :Soccer fans across the state of Washington won’t need tickets to a 2026 FIFA World Cup game to get in on the fun next year.
The Seattle FIFA World Cup 26 Local Organizing Committee will be partnering with nine locations which will host fan zones, in addition to the Seattle Fan Celebration hosted at the Seattle Center. Fan zone city locations include Bellingham, Bremerton, Everett, Olympia/Lacey, Pasco/Richland/Kennewick (Tri-Cities), Spokane, Tacoma, Vancouver and Yakima.
“The World Cup brings the entire world together around their love of soccer and their country,” said Peter Tomozawa, chief executive officer, SeattleFWC26. “We’re excited to work with these nine communities to bring the thrill of the FIFA World Cup 2026 experience to all corners of Washington.”
SeattleFWC26 secured partnerships with communities outside of King County with specific locations within each city will be announced ahead of the tournament.
“Snohomish County has something for everybody, from snow-tipped mountains to the shores of Puget Sound,” said Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers. “We hope fans will join us to make the World Cup experience unforgettable. We’re all in for FIFA World Cup 2026.”
Visit Seattle projects a minimum of $929 million will be generated for King County over the six FIFA 2026 World Cup matches set to take place at Lumen Field between June and July of 2026
“Spokane is thrilled to be a designated SeattleFWC26 fan zone,” said Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown. “This global soccer celebration will unite our local and regional community and showcase our city’s passion for this game. We cannot wait to welcome fans to experience the spirit of Spokane.”
