Swing Racquet + Paddle, the first-of-its-kind racquet and paddle sports and entertainment venue coming to Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2024, has named a series of industry veterans as part of its advisory board.
Among those joining the venture are Hans-Martin Reh, global general manager of racquet sports at Wilson Sporting Goods; Ken May, former chief executive officer of Topgolf, Drive Shack and FedEx Office and Geno Coradini, managing director of retail for JLL. Bonnie McCullough has joined the team as head of finance, John T. Jenkins II will lead development for the project, Brad Spofford is heading operations, Cole Wilson is the project’s brand development leader and JJ Kazynski has joined as in-house architect.
“We have used this time during the COVID-19 pandemic to bolster our team with the best in the business and together, we are gearing up for big things in 2022 and beyond,” said Jason DeGroff, managing partner and president of Swing Racquet + Paddle. “We have built a racquet sports A-team that will help make Swing a household name here in the triangle, throughout the U.S. and across the globe.”
