PennyMac Financial Services has been named the exclusive Official Mortgage Supporter of the 2026 and 2028 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams and a supporter of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, a first-of-its-kind partnership with a mortgage lender.
Headquartered near Los Angeles, Pennymac will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2028 as the Official Mortgage Supporter of Team USA and the LA28 Games. Pennymac is unveiling a Team USA-inspired marketing campaign, “Where Greatness Lives,” which connects shared values between Team USA athletes and hopefuls with those of aspiring homeowners.
“Our partnership with Team USA and the LA28 Games is a landmark moment for Pennymac — our first major sports sponsorship and an opportunity to connect with audiences in a way we never have before,” said Susan Hallock, Pennymac chief marketing officer. “While our focus right now is on maximizing the impact of this partnership, we’re always looking at new ways to expand our brand presence and engage with consumers in meaningful ways.”
Over the next several years, Pennymac will amplify its partnership with LA28 through a variety of initiatives designed to build its brand while supporting its mission, vision, values, and industry leadership. Pennymac is demonstrating its commitment to athletes and celebrating the announcement of this partnership by teaming up with Team USA athletes and hopefuls to share their stories and homeownership histories while also acting as a resource for Team USA athletes on the topic of housing and mortgage education.
“LA28 was a natural choice for our first sports sponsorship, given our headquarters in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and our deep connection to this community,” Hallock said. “That said, this partnership is about far more than geography — it’s about aligning with the Olympic and Paralympic Movement and the values of hard work, dedication and the pursuit of excellence that resonate with our brand … While we are proud to be part of LA’s Olympic & Paralympic moment, our broader focus is on using this partnership to strengthen Pennymac’s presence on a national stage.”
“It’s special to welcome Pennymac to the Movement, a locally headquartered partner that understands Los Angeles and shares our belief in the power of sport to inspire and connect communities,” said John Slusher, chief executive officer of U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Properties. “With a commitment to shared values and supporting people’s dreams, Pennymac will play a unique role in helping us build toward a strong and successful LA28 Games.”
