Patrick Talty Elected President of Indiana Sports Corp
Talty previously served as the organization's COO
Posted On: July 22, 2022 By :The Indiana Sports Corp Board of Directors has announced that Patrick Talty will become president of the organization. An established executive leader in the events industry with national and international experience, Talty succeeds Ryan Vaughn. Talty becomes the seventh president of Indiana Sports Corp since its inception in 1979.
“On behalf of the Indiana Sports Corp Board of Directors, we are thrilled to have Patrick serve as the next president of the organization,” said Rick Fuson, chairman of Indiana Sports Corp and CEO of Pacers Sports and Entertainment. “Patrick has extensive executive leadership experience and is well respected in the sports industry throughout the country.”
Talty was previously chief operating officer at Indiana Sports Corp. In that position, he helped lead the organization’s role in the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship and oversaw bidding efforts of several premier sporting events secured to come to Indianapolis in the coming years.
“Patrick has a strategic vision for the future of Indiana Sports Corp, and I look forward to him being able to share it broadly,” said Karin Sarratt, Indiana Sports Corp Board Affairs Chairperson and executive vice president at OneAmerica. “Patrick understands the significance of galvanizing relationships inside and outside of the community to help us elevate the organization to meet the needs of our city, state, and the events industry.”
Prior to his time at Indiana Sports Corp, Talty served as the general manager of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Before his time in Minnesota, he worked for WWE as the senior vice president of live events.
