The best Paralympic swimmers in the nation are headed to Orlando as U.S. Paralympics Swimming will host its National Championships at the Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center from December 13–15, 2024.
It will be the second time U.S. Paralympics Swimming has hosted an event in Orlando, following the 2023 edition. The Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center features an indoor 8-lane 50-meter competition pool, a dive well with four lap lanes and a heated teaching and training pool with seven lanes.
“We are thrilled to welcome back the U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships to Orlando,” said Jason Siegel, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Orlando Sports Commission. “We have a proud and longstanding history of collaborating with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee to host world-class events that celebrate athletic excellence and inspire our community. As we look ahead to the LA 2028 Olympics, we’re excited to continue strengthening our partnership and showcasing Orlando as a premier destination for Olympic and Paralympic events.”
The event is open to the public and free to attend, featuring veteran athletes and new names to the Para swimming community. The event will mark the culmination of the 2024 season for the U.S. Paralympic Swimming team.
“We are excited and honored to once again be hosting the U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships this year,” said Mike Miller, executive director of the Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center. “When the RAFC opened, it was with the vision of creating an environment perfect for events like these. This competition not only showcases our dedication to inclusivity and excellence but also fulfills our mission of providing a supportive and empowering space for all athletes.”
