Golden Trail World Series Announces 2025 Schedule
Olympic Valley, California, will host an event on June 22
Posted On: December 13, 2024 By :The Golden Trail World Series has announced its 2025 schedule of nine international events featuring some of the best trail runners in the world, including a stop in Olympic Valley, California, on June 22.
The 2025 season begins in Kobe, Japan, on April 19, before a new race on the Great Wall of China one week later on April 26. The series returns to Noli, Italy, on May 17 before heading to Zegama, Spain, on May 25. Following the Broken Arrow Skyrace event in Olympic Valley, the series stays in North America at Huasca de Ocampo, Mexico, on June 29.
August 2 and 9 will see the final two events of the season take place in Europe, in Mandarfen, Austria, and Sierre, Switzerland, respectively.
“We’re excited to unveil the 2025 calendar, with incredible new additions like Mexico’s Tepec Trail and a race on the Great Wall of China,” said Greg Vollet, Golden Trail Series director. “Returning to Asia and introducing Austria’s Salomon Pitz Alpine Glacier Trail reflects our commitment to showcasing the best of trail running worldwide. 2025 promises to be an unforgettable season.”
Before the final, the three best results from each athlete will be counted for the overall ranking and the points at the final race will be doubled. The venue for the final will be announced at a later date.
