When event organizers consider a destination in the Mid-Atlantic region, access to a large percentage of the American population is an obvious perk and can be the factor that seals the deal. When it comes to location, however, the bonuses don’t stop there: Natural beauty, attractions and the success of previous sports tournaments all add up and can help encourage a maximum turnout.
