“We are delighted to join forces again with the DSC to bring this event back to Durham,” said Patti Phillips, chief executive officer of Women Leaders in Sports. “This is not your average networking event, it’s a career catalyst, providing emerging women leaders in sports with unparalleled opportunities for learning, networking, and professional growth.”
The summit is geared toward promoting the growth and development of women in the sports industry by providing a platform for student-athletes, graduate assistants, interns, volunteers and young professionals to network.
“The Triangle is filled with incredible women working in sports,” said Marianne Schroer, president of the Women in Sports and Events Greater Raleigh chapter. “Part of what makes this such a great community is how many opportunities there are for women to invest in their future.
