The Snohomish County Sports Commission in Washington has hired Dan Olson as sports development manager. Olson began the new role on April 12.
A native of Everett, Washington, Olson earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations at the California Maritime Academy, where he also competed on the school’s crew team. Olson previously worked as a legislative aide in the Washington state legislature, and on multiple political campaigns. He recently worked as the economic programs manager for the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce.
“We are delighted to have Dan as our sports development manager” said Tammy Dunn, executive director of the Snohomish County Sports Commission. “His knowledge of Snohomish County and his work in economic development will help us in making Snohomish County as a premier sports destination.”
