Barça: Lamine Yamal Rebukes a Real Madrid TikToker Ahead of the Clasico

The showdown between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona on Saturday (9:00 pm) is already heating up. Lamine Yamal (17 years old) called out a famous Madrid-based TikToker who criticized his performance during Barça’s impressive victory over Bayern Munich (4-1) in the clash of the third matchday of the Champions League on Wednesday. The two teams were level at 1-1 when Javi Bridge, followed by 1.8 million users on TikTok, expressed surprise at the minimal influence of the Spanish gem in the game.

“Take a break, kid”

“Has anyone seen Lamine Yamal? For me, he’s good, but in the matches against Bayern, you’d think this guy will score a goal. Today, he won’t score. He’s disappeared,” he stated. While he may not have scored, the Spanish international (17 caps, 3 goals) was still decisive in providing a superb assist for Raphinha’s final goal, completing a hat-trick. He also defended himself after the game by putting his critic in place on social media. “Take a break, kid,” wrote the Barcelona player towards the influencer identified as the biggest Real Madrid supporter by his large community. A sly dig to kick off the hostilities between the major rivals of Spanish football. Barça will travel to Madrid as the La Liga leader, three points ahead of the Merengues.

Prior to rebuking the TikToker, Lamine Yamal had expressed his great joy after Barça’s resounding victory over Bayern. “I was really looking forward to this match. We played a fantastic game, and I am very happy with the win. I have freedom. I move from side to side, I can drop back, I can receive… It gives me a lot of freedom, and I play joyfully. We are the best team, and we are proving it.”
