Speculations: Union Berlin Interested in Chelsea’s Fofana

Berlin – Speculations about potential prominent new signings continue at 1. FC Union Berlin. According to “Sport Bild,” the Irons are reportedly interested in signing David Datro Fofana from FC Chelsea.

The 20-year-old striker has not gone beyond a substitute role at Chelsea since his transfer from Molde (Norway) in January. However, a loan deal would likely be the only option for the Berlin-based Bundesliga club, as the Ivory Coast international has a contract with Chelsea until 2029, making a permanent transfer too expensive.

There have also been previous reports about a possible transfer of Robin Gosens from Inter Milan to Union Berlin.
